Soaring kites

About

The entire activity as such is divided into the following sub-activities???? 1) Firstly children should study the origin of the kites in Japan, China or the UK and compare it's varieties and uses. 2) Secondly, the students are expected to design kites with teachers help. The units of measurement which would be used by the students for designing will be assessed by the teacher. 3) In the 3rd step these designed kites will be used for flying by the students wherein they will also use the Windscale (anemometer) or the app to measure the wind speed for kite surfing. This should be conducted over a week's time and the wind speed readings should be recorded in a journal. 4) Finally, the teachers should arrange for a Skype call wherein the students should share their feedback to their partner school as to how the climatic conditions in their region affected the flight of the kite.
