Background: Our English Language Arts teachers are working on the standard 5 which is: "Technology influences culture." This unit examines the progression of specific forms of technology and their influences on various forms of society.
The essential question is: How does technology influence culture? By the way, the geography of this unit is Canada!
Task: Consider the unit focus, the idea is to connect with 7th graders from Canada (via Zoom, Skype, or Google Hangout) to have a live back and forth sharing.
So, we are asking if your students can reflect on the question: "how is technology used in your education?" And then be able to discuss with our students the pros and cons of the impact of technology in education on your culture. Our students will be sharing the same with your students.
