YES (Youth Exchange and Study)program participant and high school student, Mohammad Hawili offers a representation about his home country Lebanon to let 7-12 graders know more about the country's varied cultures and traditions. Following a presentation, he will be open for questions and discussions concerning Lebanon. Started by Senators Lugar and Senator Kennedy following 9/11, the YES program aims to achieve mutual understanding between the Arab countries and the U.S. through the hosting of Middle Eastern students who come to the United States and represent their countries and experience American life as they live with a family and attend American high school for an academic year.
