Pennsbury Manor is the 17th century home of William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania and prominent Quaker. Although we have an important connection to the history of Pennsylvania, all of our programs relate to the broader experience of life in the American colonies.

Pennsbury Manor's "Voyage of the Submission" program received a "Program of the Year" award from Partners in Distance Learning in 2000, an Honorable Mention from the Pennsylvania Federation of Museums and Historical Organizations in 2004, and in June 2004 was chosen as a demonstration program for the Department of Commerce initiative to expand broadband technology.
