This is a live-streaming tour of the Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden, a beautiful outdoor series of habitats for Ohio's most amazing animals. If there is inclement weather on your tour day, we will instead feature a behind-the-scenes tour of our wildlife support areas and several of the animal ambassadors used for our in-museum programs.

Program Details

Format

This is a live-streaming tour of an outdoor wildlife display, featuring dozens of diverse Ohio animals. During the tour, our museum education team will discuss the animals' histories and why they are at the museum, and you can send us questions via a Chat feature. You'll also see some of our Wildlife Specialists at work caring for these special animal ambassadors.

Objectives

Participants will meet animal care specialists and learn about this fascinating career.
Ask questions of museum educators about working with Ohio animals.
See a wildlife center designed to reflect the diversity of Ohio ecosystems.
