Virtual Tour of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History

from Cleveland Museum of Natural History

Program image

Bring an entire grade, or even your whole school, to visit the Cleveland Museum of Natural History!  Our new live streaming service lets you join a tour from ANY device.  Teachers can type questions to our presenters with a Chat function, and you'll take a tour of the coolest, oldest, and unique specimens we're most proud of, including...
Balto-- hero dog of the 1927 race to deliver diphtheria serum to Nome, Alaska
Australopithecus afarensis, often called "Lucy". She's a 3.2-million year old clue to our origins, and was discovered by a former CMNH curator!
Coelophysis, a late Triassic theropod dinosaur and the most complete mount of its kind in the world.
Dunkleosteus terrelli, a 20-foot 358-million year old armored fish, discovered in Ohio's Big Creek Valley by former museum curator of Vertebrate Paleontology, Dr. David Dunkle.
