- Discuss what we already know about St. Patrick’s Day
- Take a virtual journey to Ireland to discuss some important locations relating to St. Patrick and his holiday.
- Discuss some of the legends associated with St. Patrick & St. Patrick’s Day
- St. Patrick and the Snakes
- St. Patrick and the Shamrock
- Talk about some of the symbols and traditions of St. Patrick’s Day
Shamrocks, Leprechauns, Luck, Wearing Green, etc.
- Discuss how these traditions immigrated from Ireland to the United States
- Traditions the Irish people brought with them.
- How we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day today.
- What we learned about St. Patrick’s Day
- Make a clover
