Objective of Collaboration
Offered anytime Feb. 2007 - mid May 2007 around your schedule-- YES (Youth Exchange and Study) program participant and high schoo student, Nancy Naser Al Deen offers a representation about her home country Lebanon to let 7-12 graders know more about the country's varied cultures and traditions. Following a presentation, she will be ope nfor questions and discussions concerning Lebanon. She is open to discussion about the recent war in Lebanon and the measures required for her to travel to the United States during this conflict. Started by Senators Lugar and Kennedy following 9/11, the YES program aims to achieve mutual understanding between the Arab countries and the United States and represent their countries and experience American life as they live with a family and attend American high school for an academic year.
