Objective of Collaboration
Would like to collaborate with elementary classrooms to teach knitting via video conference. Looking for several willing teachers to join in our experiment. Knitting has been shown to help focus and concentration and can be demonstrated as a tool for brain development. Also, the products can be used for service learning. Want to try this out with three dynamic knit instructors? We will supply the yarn, you supply the knitting needles. Hope to culminate in a grand show and tell session late next Fall (northern hemisphere) Southern hemisphere classes are welcome to join and we can adjust our schedule for you.
