We've just started reading Khaled Hosseini's novel The Kite Runner in our 10th grade World Literatures English class. As the book was introduced, we completed an activity where we listed what we knew about Afghanistan and what we wanted to learn. And, it turns out, we have a lot of questions! We want to learn more about Afghanistan's history, its culture, and what life is like there today for young people. We'd love to learn with another class studying this novel or even from a class in Afghanistan! We're using an online site to discuss this book online and would love for another class of students also reading this book to join us. We can use our online site (Ning) or connect via Skype.
