Bridging the Gap: Psychoeducational Evaluations as the Key to Collaboration Presenters: Dr. Michael Hart Date: April 17, 2013 Are you looking for straight-forward advice on how to advocate for your student? Join Dr. Michael Hart in this one hour webinar that takes a look at the practical side to collaborating in the best interest of the student. Dr. Hart will explore how school officials and parents can work effectively to support a student with learning issues and differences. He will address the components necessary to build strong collaboration in the advocacy and remediation of student learning as well as define the value of understanding neuroscience and how a child's brain is wired and that wiring's impact on school performance. Dr. Hart plans to address neuroscience, including brain growth, cognitive processing, mental processing and phonological processing. Dr. Hart strives to offer common sense advice for teachers, parents and children with educational and behavioral challenges. He has 25 plus years of working with children and families with a special expertise in diagnosis and treatment of children and adults with learning differences. Dr. Hart has a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Wharton School. |
