Content Provider: The Center for the Performing Arts
The Center for the Performing Arts is a three-venue, world-class performing arts center located in Carmel, Indiana. The Center features the Palladium; a state-of-the-art, acoustically magnificent 1,600-seat concert hall, the Tarkington; a 500-seat proscenium theater, and the 200-seat black box Studio Theater.
The Center for the Performing Arts is home to six resident performing arts organizations. It also plays host to a diverse lineup of national and international arts programming, including a Great American Songbook Series, jazz, dance, classical, pop/rock, world, country, and family concerts, plus a variety of plays and musicals, intimate cabaret performances and a host of other entertainment options enhance the quality of life in Central Indiana and throughout the Midwest.
The Center offers a wide variety of education and outreach experiences for children and adults of all ages and serves as an education center and museum for Michael Feinstein’s Great American Songbook Foundation, housing the rare memorabilia and manuscripts that comprise The Great American Songbook Collection.
