Science Live! - Weather Wonders

by  Don Harrington Discovery Center Amarillo

Program image

Much like fire, weather has three components, which are temperature, air pressure, and humidity! These atmospheric elements are largely invisible to the naked eye, but we're here to help you see them. From dry ice tornadoes to clouds in a box to simulating lightning right before your eyes, Weather Wonders uncovers these elements through dynamic demonstrations which examine the conditions necessary to create clouds, precipitation, lightning, thunder, tornadoes, and other weather phenomena.
