by  Maryland Center for History and Culture

Program image

Maryland is often referred to by promoters as “America in Miniature,” but how can such a tiny state truly reflect the major themes of American History? Come with us as we investigate the vast collections of the Maryland Center for History and Culture to answer this question. Along the way we will discover many stories of Maryland’s people and places spanning from the struggles of the Maryland colony’s founders to the social issues of the mid-20th century.
